Description? The Open Doors scheme and offers both local people and visitors the chance to explore some of Wales' finest treasures. Throughout September museums, castles, former police stations and abbeys will open their doors and tours to visitors free of charge.

What? The Brutal Extreme Triathatlon
Description? The Brutal Extreme Triathlons start in the beautiful (and slightly chilly) Lake Padarn. The bike course goes through stunning scenery and over some challenging hills. And finally, the run takes you on an undulating trail round the lake and up and down Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon.
