Grapevine's Pick of the Bunch - At home

Every month here at Grapevine Event Management we choose the pick of the bunch out of all the events happening across Wales. 

However, due to COVID-19 cancelling most or all of the events around we have instead chosen 5 online activities to take part in during this difficult time.

What? Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, 1Xtra, and the Asian Network have decided to join forces and bring you a singalong every week until the UK’s lockdown is lifted. Each week, their singalong will be dedicated to a different group deserving of celebration.

The Wine Show

What? Every weeknight, join Joe Fattorini at 7pm for an evening of wine tasting. Expect real-time tastings (wines will be advertised in advance, so you can order in), Q&As, live link-ups with top winemakers and sommeliers and a good dose of humour too. They’ll also be banging the drum for independent merchants up and down the country, and sharing ways you can support the hospitality industry.

Thirsty Thursday Happy Hour Yoga

What? Connect live with a community of humans looking to mindfully move, release stress, and celebrate health and hope together each Thursday evening from 5pm-6pm. So roll out your mats, pour a drink and enjoy some stress releasing yoga.

Earth Day

Wednesday 22nd April will celebrate 50 years since the Earth Day movement began and to celebrate, NASA is bringing people together virtually for Earth Day with new online content, programming, and activities, including an extensive array of at-home projects in the #EarthDayAtHome collection, which debuts Thursday, April 16.

What? Together At Home is a series of virtual, no-contact concerts to inspire us all to stay inside and take action. On Saturday 18th April, join Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Christine and the Queens and a number of big artists while they perform a benefit concert in aid of frontline healthcare workers!
