Well, other than loving a chance to get dressed up and party, we actually truly believe that award ceremonies are a fantastic way to celebrate talent, success and achievement within businesses and that we can help you to facilitate this celebration.
Currently we organise some of Wales’ most prestigious award ceremonies; The Cardiff Business Awards, Fast Growth 50 Awards, Wales Start-up Awards, Caerphilly Business Forum Awards and this year we will event manage the inaugural Finance Awards Wales.
We love helping people to celebrate and here at Grapevine we think that award ceremonies play an important role in the business calendar for all sectors.

Promote Wales
Wales has always been invested in business with 98,445 active enterprises active in Wales during 2016 (this includes only those enterprises which are headquartered in Wales). The great thing about this number is that the one year survival rate for enterprises born in 2015 and still active in 2016 for Wales was 90.8%, slightly above the UK survival rate of 89.7% (Source: Welsh Government). As great as this sounds we noticed that Welsh people aren’t great at shouting about their success and we want to change that! There are some amazing people and businesses in Wales that deserve to be put in the spotlight.

Recognise Talent
Award ceremonies help to recognise the very best of talent within the industry. By recognising talent on a national level, you are ultimately helping to retain this resource and this in turn attracts and builds on resources and businesses to an area. Ken Skates, Wales’ Economy & Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary, has welcomed the launch of the Finance Awards in Wales. He said:

Facilitate Business
As well as celebrating businesses, award ceremonies give companies the opportunity to facilitate business. Awards give you access to connect with people you may not normally come across at a networking event. Award ceremonies tend to be well attended; as well as the shortlisted companies in attendance, there will be sponsors, business leaders, venture capitalists, local authorities and government officials to name a few. Having your name in lights on the main screen brings your company to the attention of these guests and could result in the opening of doors to funding, knowledge, mentoring and hopefully new customers!
The fact that award ceremonies facilitate all of the above can only help the Welsh economy and Welsh business people alike.
