Every month here at Grapevine Event Management we choose the pick of the bunch out of all the events happening across Wales.
However, due to COVID-19 cancelling most or all of the events around we have instead chosen 5 online activities to take part in during this difficult time.
Virtual Royal Welsh Show
What? The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show is going online! The Society, in partnership with other key organisations will ensure that all sections of the show offer an experience to new comers, and bring back memories to those that would usually be spending a week-long celebration of agriculture in Llanelwedd.
Hay Player
What? Hay Player is the online archive of Hay Festival. It contains thousands of audio and video recordings from Hay Festivals from 1995 to the present day. Each year hundreds of new events are added from Hay Festivals around the globe, giving you front row access to the world’s great writers, thinkers and artists. An annual subscription is currently £10.
Wales-Wide Virtual Pride // Pride Rhithwir Cymru
What? LGBTQymru is proud to be breaking the silence by bringing you a Wales-Wide Virtual Pride on 24-25 July 2020! The Wales-Wide Virtual Pride has been created to unite all the voices, stories, groups and LGBTQ+ organisations of Wales, all in one place, and all at the same time.
Adventure Drive-In
What? Earlier this month, Adventure Drive-In have set off on their three month tour around the UK providing the public with an alternative cinema experience suited to the current situation. With 4 of their 22 locations based in Wales and with more locations soon to be added, why not make this drive-in experience top of your lockdown to do list.
Summer Science Online
What? This year, the Royal Society are moving their Summer Science Exhibition online. Join them for an exciting week of science streamed straight into your home, with talks and videos on subjects including the science of pets, doping in sports and Antarctica exploration, and some highlights from our favourite exhibits over the years.
