Every month here at Grapevine Event Management we choose the pick of the bunch out of all the events happening across Wales.
However, due to COVID-19 cancelling most or all of the events around we have instead chosen 5 activities to take part in during this difficult time.
Greenman Festival
What? Green Man has announced ‘Field of Streams’, a virtual event taking place on 22 – 23rd August. Expect never-before-released sets, including Father John Misty, Eels, Pictish Trail, Stella Donelly, and Adwaith, make sure to tune in live as the sets will only be available as they stream!
Lone Stag and Spirit Bar
What? FAMILIES, CYCLISTS, DOG-LOVERS and ALL PEOPLE OF CARDIFF, why not fill these long, hot, summer days with local, handmade spirits and beautiful surroundings! The Lone Stag Bar at Cardiff Castle is FREE TO ENTER and you can try their collection of award winning, hand-crafted, small batch gin and vodka infusions which are paired with delicious handmade truffles.
AJ Bell Fringe
What? Join in on a 60-minute digital fundraising variety show every Friday night at 9pm during August. Each show will feature nine different acts and will go out live at 9pm, with tickets costing just £9 each. This new digital show will showcase the festival across a range of genres, including comedy, cabaret, theatre and music.
Rhod Gilbert headline via Zoom
What? RHOD GILBERT (as seen on Live at the Apollo & Rhod Gilberts Work Experience) will be headlining for the award winning Outside the Box Comedy Club ONLINE via Zoom!! With support from PAUL McCAFFERY (Live at the Apollo) PAUL F TAYLOR and DANNY BUCKLER
St Fagans Food Festival
What? This year St Fagans Food Festival is going virtual! They will be serving up the usual feast of family friendly activities, foodie treats, musical performances and festival fun – but this time we will be bringing it all to the comfort of your home!
