Every month here at Grapevine Event Management we choose the pick of the bunch out of all the events happening across Wales.
However, due to COVID-19 cancelling most or all of the events around we have instead chosen 5 activities to take part in during this difficult time.
Museum Sleepover At Home
What? You're invited to a very special sleepover – experience a fun-filled night at the Museum from your own home. Fro taking a virtual torch-lit tour of the museum with our very own dinosaur expert to creating your own Dino-mask its a sleepover you won’t want to miss!
Red Arrows
What? The Red Arrows will return to the skies over Wales on Saturday 15th August to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Japan Day. A two-minute silence will be held at 11am at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire as part of a special broadcast on BBC One between 9.30 and 11.30am.
Metaverse
What? Fans, otakus, cosplayers, readers and gamers assemble! ReedPop invites you into the Metaverse. In this virtual realm, you’ll encounter one-of-a-kind interactive experiences with your favourite celebs and creators, discover new releases, explore a rich exhibitor marketplace, get access to sweet merchandise, and connect with other fans from across the globe to celebrate all things pop culture.
Woods and Dunes
What? Woods and Dunes is unique, sand-based, woodland glamping experience situated on the Candleston Campsite adjacent to the Merthyr Mawr Warren Nature Reserve and sand dunes; one of Wales' SSSI and a haven for wildlife. Virtual Race for Nature
What? Can you pace out a parrot in your local park? Or draw out a dinosaur in the centre of town? Join the virtual Race for Nature and raise money for a future where both people and the planet can thrive. The event is free to take part and there will be prizes for those who hit our fundraising targets. Every step you take, each animal you create and each £1 you raise helps protect our planet!
