Every month here at Grapevine Event Management we choose the pick of the bunch out of all the events happening across Wales.
However, due to COVID-19 cancelling most or all of the events around we have instead chosen 5 online activities to take part in during this difficult time.
Anglesey Agricultural County Show
What? For the first time ever, the Anglesey County Show 2020 will take place online! The virtual event will be open for competitions from Wednesday 12th August from 5.30pm. For the following few days participants can log in, explore the virtual showground and visit the virtual event as it build up for the main day on Saturday 15th August. More info?
European Metal Festival Alliance
What? Bloodstock Open Air, the UK's leading Metal festival, is joining forces with 12 of the best independent European metal festivals to create a unique online fundraising event. A ticket for the whole 3 days costs just €6.66 which will entirely go towards supporting the independent metal festival scene.
St Fagans Reopens
What? St Fagans National Museum of History reopened on Tuesday 4 August. They will open for four days per week – every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday – until further notice. The Museum remains free to enter. However, to keep the public and staff safe, they have reduced the number of people on site at any one time. To manage this, all visitors entering the site must book a ticket in advance. More info?
Frontrunner for Frontline Workers
What? Frontrunner for Frontline Workers has been set up in order to raise money for those working on the frontline to help keep us safe. Simply sign up and either run, jog or walk a minimum of 1KM, submit your evidence and then you’ll receive a medal and a digital certificate. All donations will be made to NHS Charities Together and St John Cymru Wales. More info?
